Dr. John William (Bill) Bayrd II, PharmD
Dr. Bayrd is a business expert, pharmacist, investor and Marine Corps veteran with a proven track record of success. He started his career as a demolitions expert in the Marines and served one combat tour to Fallajuh, Iraq in 2005. As a licensed pharmacist, he previously worked in research and development at Abbott Laboratories where he was heavily involved in development and support of immune modulator therapies like Humira (adalimumab). Dr. Bayrd also worked directly with patients for several years at Kroger and CVS, most recently delivering the Covid-19 vaccine to the elderly at nursing homes across Tennessee in 2020-2021.
Dr. Bayrd has started 3 successful companies including Axcess Investments Inc, ODEM SA and Excelorators Inc across the finance, education and technology sectors. He’s skilled at identifying early technology trends, building out scalable business models and executing on strategy.
Dr. Bayrd received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science along with a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee as well. Additionally, he holds a FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and a Life Insurance license. He currently lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and 3 boys. When not working, he enjoys running, lifting weights, yoga, mountain climbing and playing golf.

Dr. Cian is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging. He earned his degree in medicine in 1996 from New York Medical College. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University and later completed his musculoskeletal fellowship at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
Dr. Cian began his journey into anti-inflammatory and longevity therapies 10 years ago while trying to self treat a skin condition. He found that changes to diet, fasting and other therapies could not only alleviate his skin conditions, but increase his lifespan. He decided to pursue this area of medicine as a personal passion eventually becoming certified in both testosterone replacement and peptide therapies.
Dr. Cian is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds memberships in the Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR), the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and the Radiology Society of North America (RSNA). Before attending medical school, Dr. Cian received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Queen’s University. In addition to spending time with his kids, Dr. Cian enjoys gardening, skiing, exercising and golf.

Hannah McLemore
Hannah McLemore is a Nashville native that has spent her life pursuing the healing arts. She attended San Diego State University where she studied Nutrition, Total Body Wellness and Eastern Medicine. As a Health Coach, she has helped numerous clients achieve lasting results with a focus on diet, exercise, meditation and developing life purpose. Hannah was trained directly by Bikram Choudhury where she became a certified bikram instructor in 2009.
Hannah is also certified to teach the Barre method, Sumits Yoga, and Hot Pilates. She has managed multiple health studios and brings her exceptional organizational skills to LION Health.

Why Choose Us
Testosterone and peptide therapies utilize a combination of several medications and require constant monitoring. You will be prescribed a customized treatment plan determined by your age, symptoms, physical examination findings and blood levels. Your hormone replacement therapy will be closely monitored by a board certified physician, and if there are fluctuations in your hormone levels, a change in dose can be made accordingly.
You can either call and speak with one of our specialists first to book an appointment or book one at a time convenient for you directly on our site. Once your appointment is confirmed, fill out and submit our secure online medical history forms. At your appointment, you will have your blood drawn and receive a physical examination. Our physician will review your results, and if it is determined that you are a candidate for any therapies, we will discuss the risks and benefits of treatment with you. Should you choose to move forward, your prescription will be submitted to our online pharmacy. The medications will then be shipped directly to you, and in most cases, you can receive your medications the very next day. You will receive detailed instructions on administering your medications at your initial visit.
That’s it. It’s that simple! Our program requires only 1 annual follow up visit, so the program is very convenient. All follow up lab work is scheduled in advance by our office and is covered by your monthly program fee. Your medications will be shipped directly to your home with all the supplies you’ll need to administer them.
The mission of our doctors and staff is to provide you with these male optimization therapies following four main principles:
Safety
We never prescribe any medications without first performing a detailed patient history, a complete physical examination, and a comprehensive blood panel. Our labs check not only for low testosterone and hormone levels, but other indicators of underlying disease as well. We do follow up blood panels regularly to ensure that your hormones stay consistent and within normal, healthy levels.
Customizable
Each patient is treated uniquely and each program will vary based on your lab results and needs. Some clinics offer a low price program that includes only testosterone and/or only the lowest possible dose of your medications. LION Health provides you with ALL of the necessary medications you need to ensure proper testosterone levels and hormones at whatever dose is needed to help achieve and maintain those levels.
Affordability
LION Health Club membership is $199 which includes your initial blood testing and physical exams. After that, our program costs start at only $199 per month and includes ALL medications, ALL supplies, ALL follow up lab work, ALL office visits, and 24/7 medical support. You can always schedule additional office visits at no additional cost if needed, but most of our patients do not find this to be necessary.
Convenience
Once your doctor determines that you are a candidate for male optimization therapy, your medications and all necessary supplies will be shipped to you directly to your home. Our program requires only one in office doctor visit per year, but we allow for unlimited office visits as part of the program should you need to come in for ANY reason. You will be given instructions on exactly how to administer your medications, including preparation and proper dosages. You will automatically receive your medications bi monthly without having to do a thing.
